Amerisleep, Zoma and Vaya are amongst some of the brands that have recently been named as the best mattress in a box providers. The rating was conducted by mattress experts Sleep Junkie, who analyzed a range of mattresses to find out which ones excelled in a variety of categories.
The survey rated Amerisleep AS3 as the best mattress in a box overall, whilst the Amerisleep AS5 Hybrid was named as the best hybrid mattress in a box. Amerisleep was one of the first mattress companies to sell its products online, having formed in 2007. They have since become one of the most popular brands for customers that like shopping for their mattresses on the internet.
What is a mattress in a box?
A mattress in a box, or a bed in a box, is a term used to describe mattresses that are rolled or folded into boxes for shipping. Companies use compression techniques to reduce the size of the mattress for delivery, but the mattress soon regains its volume and shape once it has been unpacked.
