  • A table crumber is a piece of equipment that few of us would consider a necessity, but once you've used it you can't believe you ever lived without one. Click the link in our bio for 5 table crumbers, all under $10. Photo by @paulraeside for Remodelista.
  • DIY means different things to different people--some jump into an advanced project requiring table saws and nail-guns no problem, and others...prefer things to be a little simpler. This laundry-room hack falls squarely into the ""simple project"" category. Click the link in our bio to read up on how to easily create this DIY countertop, for folding, ironing, and much more. • In the chic 9th Arrondissement of Paris, architects Batiik Studio found a project that allowed them to do what they do best: Create exceeding clever layouts and built-ins to solve the myriad woes of tiny apartments. Click the link in our bio to find out how they managed to create a space for cooking, working, sleeping, and entertaining--in only 235 square feet. • @Plainenglishkitchens , the bespoke UK-based kitchen design company, is behind some of our all-time favorite kitchens. The hallmark of Plain English design is the impressive craftsmanship that goes into their cabinetry--and their focus on the individual storage needs of clients. Click the link in our bio to read about 10 storage ideas to steal from one of the stalwarts of traditional European cabinetry design. Photograph courtesy of @plainenglishkitchens
  • A good coat closet can change the feel of an entire house: there’s nothing like walking into an entryway strewn with coats, hats, shoes, and life’s other various paraphernalia to deflate the spirit. This ingenious closet, designed by architect Oliver Freudlich of @oliverfreundlichdesign , features an open nook with a shelf for hats, a coatrack, and a built-in bench—under which rests a crate for holding shoes. For more images and information on this design, click the link in our bio. Photo by Matthew Williams.
  • In a closet-size laundry room designed by New York–based architect Solveig Fernlund (@solveigfernlund) we instituted a system for better-looking liquid laundry detergent storage—using an olive oil container. Click the link in our bio for a look at the Italian fusti turned detergent dispenser. Photography by Matthew Williams for The Organized Home.
  • We recently revisited an old Remodelista post about a kitchen rehab in Melbourne, Australia. We were drawn to the many smart storage solutions—from the ingenious use of awkward nooks to the hardworking kitchen island—that interior designer Sarah Trotter of @hearthstudio, designed into the space.
